Clarey Walker

Founder & Director

Mr. Clarey Walker is a native of Gainesville, FL and 1997 graduate of Eastside High School. He is the founder and director of the Clarey Walker Foundation.


He’s always had a passion for helping others, which his “village” demonstrated as they invested in his academic and extracurricular pursuits. Understanding the power of helping others, he started organizations dedicated to service, such as Men of Vision and Energy (M.O.V.E) as an undergraduate at the University of North Florida and Junior M.O.V.E. that focuses on developing inner-city youth in Jacksonville.


A former public and charter school educator, Clarey currently leads a division of 30 officers assigned to the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon.


Prior to his current stint at the Pentagon, he led the Officer Leadership Development Program for more than 16,000 global officers working for the Department of Defense. He also worked 5 years as a legislative aid on Capitol Hill, and federal, state, and local campaigns.


With a passion for education, development, and diversity, Clarey serves as a life coach, ordained minister, and motivational speaker. He partners with clients and audiences to help them identify the greatest talents that reside within.


His formal education includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Florida in

Political Science and a Master of Arts degree from the American University.
